Kate’s students at University Prep High School in the Bronx
Kate has a track record of designing and implementing educational programs and fellowships in the arts and entertainment.
At Metrograph, she created, designed, and launched inaugural Metrograph Fellowship, selecting and mentoring students and recent graduates for apprenticeships in fields including programming, projection, production, and business development and strategy.
At the NYU Production Lab, Kate ran the Screenwriting Development Studio which gave students and recent alumni from across the university mentorship and support as they wrote their first feature film screenplays. She also built and ran partner driven programs with organizations including OBB Media, VICE Media, and the Cardozo Filmmakers Legal Clinic.
She is currently working with the University Prep Charter High School on their first film program.

Teaching
Kate is currently an adjunct professor in the Department of Dramatic Writing at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
Guest Speaking & Panels
Kate is available to curate and host or participate in panels and other guest speaking engagements. She has spoken and sat on panels within NYU’s Undergrad and Graduate Film programs, the NYU Entrepreneurial Institute, and Stern School of Business as well as for VICE, Forge NYC, The Gotham Media Center, and Metrograph.
